Lab Tech Student Assistant- Bass School
This position provides customer service and technical support in the Harry W. Bass School of Arts, Humanities, and Technology.
Expectation is 15 - 20 hours a week. This position requires in-person attendance.
Applicant is responsible for:
-- Checking out equipment at the ATC building service center
-- Providing customer service to faculty, staff, and students of the Bass School
-- Software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for various University owned and personal computing devices in classroom/lab environments
-- Monitoring lab use and enforce policies
-- Maintaining/enforcing safety policies as necessary
-- Maintaining building and classroom security through thorough closing routines
-- Other duties as assigned
Applicant must have:
-- Excellent customer service skills
-- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
-- Basic software and hardware problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Beneficial applicant skills:

-- Experience with general support for classroom and lab software
-- Knowledge of animation, sound design, and/or game design software
-- Knowledge of games/gaming programs and software
