This job posting is for a proctor position in the SP2 Testing Center at UT Dallas. This position opens to both work study and non-work study applicants. Students in this role can expect to work between 12 - 20 hours per week. During the Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters, student proctors administer exams and monitor examinees in the Testing Center.
Proctor job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* Must be flexible when working around your class schedule
* Seating students, administer and monitor tests taken in the Testing Center
* Must be able to attend Proctor Mandatory Monthly Meeting on a Saturday or Sunday
* Ensure test instructions are followed and testing security is enforced
* Follow all written and verbal directions provided by Testing Center staff
* Assist with monitoring lockers/hallways
* Maintain test security to ensure confidentiality and integrity of all test materials by enforcing the rules and policies of examinees
* Check with breaches of test security and notify Supervisor in difficult situations
* Complete other duties as assigned
Qualification:
* Must be currently enrolled student
* Must maintain good academic standing, an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher
* Must have the ability and willingness to be a team player, and work in a team atmosphere with frequent situations
* Must be comfortable dealing with difficult people and situation
* Reliable is essential; must be on time and dependable
* Uphold the confidentiality and integrity of all exams
* Fluent in English, have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and follow written instructions
* Proctors cannot administer or work for a test that they may be proctoring or taking
